I was wondering where November went. I didn’t have to look too far. Much of our time in the fall is spent bouncing back and forth between sports venues.
First we have Fiona who is the goalie for her U15 Rec Soccer team. They went undefeated for their season and this Sunday begins the annual all city tournament. The only difference will be that it will be much colder and probably wetter.
Then there is the minimum ten and a half hours a week that Shannon spends at gymnastics practice. That does not include the time that she spends at home working on strength and conditioning or the time spent at the local playfield with her gymnastics buddies. I keep thinking that I should have an engraved chair at the gym.
At the gymnastics practice I can usually get some knitting done, because it is indoors and somewhat warm. The soccer practice is a bit chilly and usually wet. So generally I just get to enjoy the fact that I have wool socks, mitts and hats to help keep me warm.
