The pink socks have been gifted to my sister. I loved the yarn and the end result, but I just am not a pink person. When we were growing up, she always went for the pink stuff and I usually went for blue. So the pink socks were perfect for her. I hope that she enjoys them.

Now I am working on this baby blanket for a friend of mine. I am about halfway through the project. I am not sure that it will be finished before the baby actually arrives, but I am going to give it my best shot.

We seem to be busy bees around here at any rate. Today I planted some carrots and beets, as well as a tomato plant. We have planted tomatoes in the past, but this is the first time I have tried planting other vegetables. We will see how it goes.
