Parenting isn’t an easy gig. Sometimes it is a breeze, a breath of fresh air and a new perspective. Other days it is torture. I am constantly second guessing myself and my kids.
But I don’t think that I would trade it for anything. I love the spontaneous moments, the laughter, time spent together and even just time spent doing nothing. Excursions like a spur of the moment trip to the the park and climbing trees? Priceless.
I did find out something today as well. Shann and I had the opportunity to go out on the dock at the marina. I know that I have an issue with seasickness on a boat, but I didn’t realize that it also extends to walking on a dock. Go figure. I think that I got some good photos, but even the thought of looking at them at the moment makes me queasy.
