Signs of Spring

Unlike my own gardens, the planters at work change with the seasons. My bulbs are just starting to poke through the earth, while the ones at work get a jump start by planting them ready to go.

Today I was cheered to see these daffodils lining up in row, gently swaying in the breeze, the reflection captured in the marble below. Spring doesn’t officially start until next week, yet we were treated to a spectacular preview.

Oh, they are so cheerful and bright. Mine are blooming now and they do brighten up the gray dampness of the Pacific Northwest. Your fantastic socks on your last post are equally cheerful.
By the way, did you have the huge wind storm that we had on Sunday? It was very scary!

Oh, that’s beautiful, and the reflection–someone did a good job thinking that one out.

You are looking forward to spring and I am looking forward to cooler weather, we have been in autumn for 3 weeks now and it is starting to cool slightly of a night, well some nights, I love it when it is cooler.
