I had high hopes for blogging in September, but I blinked and it was gone. Now it is October already. The leaves are changing colour and the mornings are becoming a bit brisk, although the afternoons remain warm and delightful. The first batch of apple butter for the season is simmering on the stove, filling the house with the warm scent of apples and spice.
My Color Affection shawl was completed yesterday. I cast off the last stitch as the last second ticked off of the first half of the football game. Right now it looks like a puddle of orange, brown and red, warm and cozy, but not yet ready for public viewing until I get it blocked.
All that and I am tired. Good night all and rest well.
I feel like that about the whole year!! Here the first blowflies inside herald Summer and daylight saving starts this weekend. Have a nice sleep.
